Hi, I’m Becs – and if you’re here, chances are something’s not feeling quite right in your life right now. Maybe you’ve been carrying around something heavy for a while. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, alone or even feeling like you’ve lost yourself.
We can feel as if we’re going round in circles and these feelings can often represent some of the most difficult times of our lives. But we don’t have to feel like this.
Talking to someone who cares and understands is the first step in a journey that can help you to enjoy better mental health and start to navigate life more easily.
I typically work with adults: women, and men, just like you to gently untangle what’s going on, with warmth, honesty, and always in a nonjudgmental way. To put it simply, I offer a safe and accepting space for you to talk. Away from family and friends, you have the opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings, to explore what is troubling you and to identify what you might like to change.

I’m based in West Sussex and qualified as an Integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, which really means I have an adaptive approach and tailor sessions to meet your needs because we are all different. I’m a trained and informed individual with a warm, down-to-earth approach and genuinely feel like it’s a precious privilege to work with clients seeking help, and see them build on their self awareness, introspective curiosity and often self-compassion.
My clinical experience is broad, and includes working for the NHS in the Perinatal Counselling Service with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, loss, relationship issues, OCD and more. My experience also includes working for an independent Women’s Centre working exclusively with clients facing chronic conditions including; abuse, trauma, addiction and other issues.
I have a private practice and am focused on working with clients who face all types of challenges, including dealing with their moods and anxieties, interpersonal difficulties, work and stress, loss and grief, and relationship issues.
I completed my training at The Link Centre and have a level 6 diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I am trained predominantly in a therapeutic technique called Transactional Analysis and I use that as the foundation of my work. All that said, the real expert on yourself is you, and I see my role as helping facilitate you to reflect on your behaviour, thinking and feelings to ultimately improve your emotional well-being.
